Hilton Head Island March Event Calendar

Can you believe it is March already? Amazing. Spring is on its way to Indigo Run and the Low Country. It's the time of year for sprucing up the house; cleaning out the cobwebs, getting the dust out and preparing for a fresh new season. The other day I was on my bike going through the historic district of Bluffton and in the distance I could hear the ping of baseballs hitting bats and the soothing sound of a ball being swallowed up by leather. Indeed, spring is on its way and has partially arrived.
There are a lot of fantastic events going on throughout Hilton Head Island this month. Here are just a few of the many opportunities to get out for some culturally stimulating fun. After all, that is what makes this portion of the South Carolina coastline. Simply put; We have it going on Indigo Run and Hilton Head Island!
March 12, 2008: Momix, a company of dancer-illusionists present a fusion of art and dance at 8:00 PM at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.843-842-2787
March 20 to April6, 2008: "Almost, Main" A playful, romantic play by John Cariani and directed by Chip Egan. 8:00 PM except matinees at 2:00 PM. The South Carolina Repertory Company at the Beach City Rd. theater. 843-342-2057.
March 24 to March 27, 2008: he Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra presents "Symphony Under the Stars" at 8:00 PM at the Shelter Cove Community Park. The program, "Hollywood Revue" will consist of music from motion pictures. 843-842-2055.
March 29, 2008: Dionne Warwick will perform at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, starting with a cocktail reception at 6:00 PM, followed by a live auction at 8:00 PM and then by Ms. Warwick's performance. 843-686-3945.
March 22, 2008: Wingfest at Shelter Cove Community Park. 843-681-7273

March 16, 2008: The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Pope Ave. Starts about 2 PM.
